Celebrating 20 Years of innovation in digital identity and fraud prevention
Los Angeles – 17 October, 2025 – Telesign, a leading provider of digital identity and fraud prevention solutions and a Proximus Global Company, hosted Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium at its Los Angeles headquarters. This visit was part of the Belgian Economic Mission to the West Coast of the United States (US), an initiative aimed at strengthening economic ties between Belgium and the US.
The visit coincided with Telesign’s 20th anniversary, marking two decades of pioneering innovation in digital identity and fraud prevention. The milestone event was attended by high-level Belgian government officials including H.E. Eléonore Simonet, Federal Minister for SMEs and the Middle Class, and H.E. Rudy Vervoort, Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region, alongside Proximus Global and Proximus Group leadership, including Stijn Bijnens, CEO, Proximus Group; and selected Belgian media following the Belgian Economic Mission delegation.The delegation witnessed a live demonstration of Telesign’s Intelligence Platform, which analyzes billions of phone numbers, emails, and IP signals to deliver real-time risk recommendations, scores, and insights. This technology empowers businesses to prevent fraud, check risks, and build trust with their end users, all while ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
The event also featured tech pitches from four innovative Belgian startups: VoxelSensors, Futurewave, TheGreenShot, and Dups, showcasing the breadth of Belgian technological innovation.
The visit provided an opportunity to celebrate the strong collaboration between Belgium and the United States in the fields of technology and innovation.
