This list of Services forms part of Telesign’s Terms of Service (or if your company has a separate agreement with Telesign for the provision of services from Telesign to you, part of that separate agreement (in either case, the “Agreement”). Any capitalized terms herein shall have the meaning set out in the Agreement.
Caller ID (Formerly known as Dedicated Caller ID) allows a Customer to use a dedicated phone number as the address a call is initiated from or delivered to.
Caller ID Management customizes phone number identification information (“Caller ID”), which is displayed alongside a phone number when a call is placed to an end-user.
Sender ID (Formerly known as Dedicated Sender ID) allows a Customer to use a dedicated phone number as the originating address of an SMS.
Inbound SMS enables SMS that is sent by an end-user to Telesign, and from Telesign to Customer.
Number Masking enables two parties to communicate for a short period of time over Voice or SMS without exposing either party’s phone number.
Phone Numbers assigns leased phone numbers enables Customer to deliver and/or receive SMS or Voice messages from dedicated virtual numbers. The Phone Numbers are leased and include Sender IDs and Caller IDs.
Short Code is a short phone number, typically 3-6 digits, used as the originating address from which an SMS is initiated or delivered.
SMS enables Customers to send and/or receive short text messages. Each text can be words and/or numbers up to one hundred and sixty (160) characters, or up to seventy (70) characters if containing one or more Unicode characters.
SMS Verify enables the sending and/or receiving of SMS for the purpose of conducting real-time SMS verification. Each automated outbound SMS contains a unique PIN number that the User must enter online to verify or authenticate the end-user.
Voice (Formerly known as Voice API) enables Customers to build communications and account security voice-based messaging into web and mobile applications.
Voice Verify enables automated calls to an end-user for the purpose of conducting real-time phone verification. Each automated call contains a unique PIN number that the end-user must enter online to verify or authenticate the User.
WhatsApp Business Platform (Formerly known as Voice Business API) enables businesses to communicate with an end-user through WhatsApp Messenger using two-way conversational and application-to-person template messaging.
Viber enables businesses to communicate with an end-user through Viber for Business using two-way conversational and application-to-person template messaging.
Age Verify (Formerly known as Phone ID Age Verify) enables businesses to communicate with an end-user through Viber for Business using two-way conversational and application-to-person template messaging.
Number Deactivation Alert (formerly known as PhoneID Monitor) enables a daily alert of phone numbers that are disconnected or ported.
Call Forwarding (Formerly known as PhoneID Call Forward Detection) provides call forwarding status, call forwarding type, and call forwarding condition of a given phone number.
Contact (Formerly known as PhoneID Contact) enables Customers to determine characteristics about a phone number, including the name and/or address associated with the phone number.
Contact Match (Formerly known as PhoneID Contact Match) provides Customers a phone number contact match score to validate an end-user’s first name, last name and address against carrier contact data.
Live Status (Formerly known as PhoneID Live) provides characteristics about a phone number, including whether the phone number is currently active and/or reachable, as well as the type of phone, geographic and carrier information associated with that phone number, and other data points that may be used to determine the potential fraud risk associated with a specific phone number.
Number Deactivation (formerly known as PhoneID Number Deactivation) provides insights on when a phone number was deactivated, based on mobile carriers’ phone number data and our proprietary analysis, to deliver a date and time stamp, in the event a trust anchor has been broken. Number Deactivation can be offered in “Push” format, a subscription-based service, or “Pull” format, an on-demand API.
Porting History (formerly known as PhoneID Porting History) provides insights associated with an end-user phone number and delivers the number’s last porting timestamp.
Porting Status (formerly known as PhoneID Porting Status) Enables insights associated with an end-user phone number and delivers the number’s current porting status.
SIM Swap (formerly known as PhoneID SIM Swap) Enables insights associated with an end-user phone number and delivers phone number SIM Swap status and timestamp.
Phone ID (formerly known as PhoneID Standard) provides characteristics about a phone number, including the type of phone that end-user is using geographic information; carrier information; and other data points that may be used to determine the fraud risk of a transaction.
Subscriber Status (formerly known as PhoneID Subscriber Status) provides insights associated with an end-user phone number and delivers carrier subscriber status.
Intelligence (Formerly known as Score) provides information about a phone number, including providing a real-time reputation score and assessment based on insights, signals, and digital attributes that may be used to determine the fraud risk of a transaction.
Verify Plus (Formerly known as Score Verify) provides information about a phone number, including a real-time risk assessment based on insights, signals, and digital attributes that may be used to determine the fraud risk before using SMS Verify or Voice Verify.
Silent Verification Enables end-user authentication by matching the end-user’s phone number with the mobile network operator data.
