How to Turn On 2FA for DNS Made Easy

Please note: Specific instructions for enabling 2FA are subject to change without notice. Please check with each website or app for the most up-to-date information on this feature.

Two-Factor authentication is an optional but highly recommended security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to DNS Made Easy accounts. This extra level of security is another feature developed by DNS Made Easy in response to requests from their user base to increase security.

1.Sign-in to your account as you normally do, and go to your Config Tab. Select 2 Factor-Auth.

2. You’ll need a one-time password app in order to enable Two-Factor Authentication. Select an app that supports the time-based one-time password. Click Activate.

3. To configure your authenticator app, enter the secret key provided, or scan a barcode instead.

4. Once your app generates the password, enter it into the field provided to verify and complete your two-factor authentication. Two-factor authentication will not be active until this is verified.
