How to Turn On 2FA for CloudFlare

CloudFlare offers 2FA as an optional feature that you can activate to give added protection to your account. It is is provided free of charge to all CloudFlare users, but not available for phones based on Windows or Blackberry at this time.

1. To turn two-factor authentication on, you simply log in to your CloudFlare account, navigate to My Settings and go to the “Two Factor Authentication” option found on that page.

2. Once there, you will enter your mobile phone information and select Next.

3. You will then receive a text message (your provider’s standard text messaging rates will apply). The text message includes a link to download the the needed app. Download this app to your phone.

4. The app will ask you to enter your your mobile phone number. It will then text you a setup pin that you need to enter into the app. Type it into the field provided and click Register my phone.

You have enabled two-factor authentication!
