Smart Verify combines multiple TeleSign products into a unified API that utilizes a proprietary Smart Decision Engine. This configurable workflow includes detailed steps for real-time fraud detection, reputation scoring and optimized routing of the verification and authentication process (SMS, voice or push notification) to the most reliable and/or cost-effective method.

How It Works

The end-user registers for an account and enters their phone number.

The decision engine checks to see if the number is on the blocklist.

If not on the blocklist, the number is assessed against predictive data and assigned a risk score.

If the score is low, the system will allow the verification to proceed.
