AstroPay is the digital wallet leader for online businesses and e-commerce platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AstroPay\u2019s ultimate goal is to provide their customers with a way to manage their finances without hassle or stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"issues-astropay-was-facing\"><\/span>Issues AstroPay was facing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Global e-commerce sales are expected to reach $6.3 trillion in 2023. This high growth attracts fraudsters, who attempt to infiltrate company ecosystems via fake accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AstroPay\u2019s mission is to empower their customers to use their service without fear of fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their main concerns included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fake accounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promo abuse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faster, safer onboarding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AstroPay needed an advanced solution to keep their more than 9 million users safe while minimizing friction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"onboarding-the-final-frontier\"><\/span>Onboarding: the final frontier<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first step AstroPay took to accomplish their goals was to perfect the onboarding process. 74% of customers will switch to other companies if signup is too complicated. AstroPay didn\u2019t want to add unwanted friction into the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And because 48% of fraud comes from accounts less than a day old, AstroPay couldn\u2019t roll out an onboarding process that lacked security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key to onboarding for AstroPay was balance.
