The FFIEC recently mandated that all financial institutions begin using
two-factor authentication during their login process
( click here to read more).
Several financial institutions have begun implementing
two-factor authentication using the telephone. The process is simple:
require users to receive a phone call at one of their
pre-designated telephone numbers when they log into their banking
account (home phone, mobile phone, etc.).
The system is similar to the token-based two-factor solution, but
because your users' phones are used for PIN delivery,
your business doesn't incur the deployment and management costs associated
with the token-based solution.
Benefits
- Prevent online banking fraud by implementing a two-factor solution
- Dramatically reduce deployment and management costs compared to a token-based solution
- Integrate seamlessly into your financial institution's website
