When the federal government passed the law requiring all banks to use a two-factor authentication solution, we contacted TeleSign for our security needs. At the time we thought that this was going to be a huge hassle requiring a two-factor authentication solution for every user, but it turned out our users actually were thankful we did it. We received many thanks by our users telling us that they appreciate the fact that we worry about their security and identity theft. Since incorporating TeleSign’s two factor authentication service their were three times I remember off hand where TeleSign stopped criminals from stealing someone’s identity and entering into that users account. TeleSign traced the phone call that the criminals were calling from and after gathering the information surrounding that number, they realized that there were inaccuracies. The information from the phone number didn’t match up with the users account information and TeleSign notified us to review the account. We did and realized that the calls were indeed coming from a criminal and we stopped the verification process and notified the police. With out TeleSign this customer’s savings would have disappeared and there would have been major problems for them in the future. TeleSign’s two-factor authentication solution is an amazing program.
