While Americans wait for a $787 billion stimulus package to be passed, there is a new number for Americans to consider, $1 trillion. A McAfee study from last week estimated that the economic loss due to security breaches reached this milestone number last year. Considering that the new stimulus package is supposed to save close to 4 million jobs, imagine the economic implications if data breaches can be reduced significantly in 2009.
