Life before TeleSign was stressed and intense. The corporation I operate has sensitive information that must be shielded from public consumption; however, I need my employees to access it when they’re not at the office. Finding a way to allow employees to access this information without making it publicly available was a major dilemma. I looked around to find a solution and discovered that some corporations have implemented a token-based two-factor solution. I looked into this technology and learned that yes it may effectively secure business data, but deployment and management costs are through the roof. There had to be a more cost effective solution! I did some more searching and found that TeleSign is offering a token-less two-factor solution. This solution is called their Phone Verification program. Being a token-less system, they do not use a separate piece of hardware for PIN delivery. TeleSign’s Phone Verification program instead delivers a temporary one time only PIN number to one of my employee’s pre-designated telephones. With the combination of this PIN number, and my employee’s username and password they are then allowed access into my site. TeleSign’s Phone Verification solution has saved me from the high costs of token-based solutions! TeleSign is a wonderful product and I recommend them to anyone looking for products to authenticate their users!
