The Webinar hosted by TeleSign yesterday was a big success! The webinar “CAPTCHA is Dead! What Now?” covered the history of spam, the rise of spam defeating technologies and methods, and new ways that websites can keep their websites more secure such as phone verification and sms verification. The webinar was hosted by Vice President of Sales for TeleSign Matthew Soprias and Business Development Manager for TeleSign Sean Whitley. Some of the results of the TeleSign webinar are quite shocking, especially facts concerning the loss of productivity and profits for US and global businesses because of spam emails and comments to corporate blogs and websites.
For the next several days, we at TeleSign will be releasing a series of blog posts which will cover what the CAPTCHA vs Phone Verification webinar covered, along with graphs, statistics, and other information related to how spammers and criminals are defeating CAPTCHA entries and why phone verification is a more reliable solution for website security.
